Before turning professional, Jon played county golf for Warwickshire at under-16, under-18, and under-21 level. He later became head professional at Collingtree Park Golf Club.
He is a qualified member of the Professional Golfers’ Association and certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, so technical coaching sits alongside how the body actually moves.
He still competes, on the South Region PGA Order of Merit and in national PGA events.
